All systems go...

Well, it's go go go! time here at Red Letter Studio, or should I call it Weddings R Us?? with less than a week to go now til I will be Mrs Shepherdson (cool huh?? SS! my friend Melanie said welcome to the double-letter club, or something along those lines...), it is all wedding and to-do lists around here...

my fabulous Mum (love you Mum!) and I baked our wedding cake yesterday, yup I know the bride made her own cake! the recipe is super-simple, from the Planet Cake book, and my matey Janelle is gonna turn it into a super-dooper creation, so stay tuned for pics! so its go-go-go, I seriously can't wait for next Saturday to arrive! with sunshine of course.

But first I just had to post about this little beauty first before I packaged it all up for its new owner. Narelle makes gorgeous jewellery, and its all customised! I have commissioned her twice now to do gifts for my loved ones, and I have to say that this piece turned out perfect. I did borrow the idea from another, but I just love how this piece talks so much about the future wearer, my cousin Ella who is going to be our wedding photographer next Saturday. this is just a little somethin' to show El how much we appreciate her hard work and its also a little keep-sake which says so much about our day together! Narelle is wonderful, not only is she super talented but she is fantastic to work with, giving me constant updates on how she is going, and packaging up her little parcels so pretty! thanks so much Narelle for adding a little something to our day.
