hello 2011!

well, hasn't my little blog been a bit neglected... oh dear!

with moving into our brand new house, setting up a new studio, Christmas and summer holidays, and now all the work we gotta do around home (plus being flat chat with Cake Ink.) poor little ol' Red Letter Studio is a bit sad and outdated and I feel like I have been neglecting my little pet!! oops ;)

so, on into 2011! I am working on some new designs for our store, and hoping to introduce art prints into our collection, debuting at The Handmade Show in February. so I am drawing when I get the time (which is like, never) but I also have plans to tweak a few of my fave card designs too.

I also have a LOT of custom invite jobs on at the moment too, which are great fun, and I am moving through them pretty well. I am really happy with how they are turning out so far, and if I ever get the time to photograph them properly I will share them on here - promise!

probably a good reason I don't seem to have much 'time' for getting some new RLS designs happening is all the distractions of just having the need to be creative and 'make stuff' at the moment! check out this great little blog I have only recently discovered: How About Orange has some awesome tutorials, and I especially like this one, a heart shaped garland with stiffened fabrics, so beautiful and would be a great little addition to the home decor around Valentines Day!
